About The Ability Experience:
The Ability Experience, formerly Push America, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves people with disabilities. The Ability Experience was founded in 1977 as the national philanthropy of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity with the purpose of instilling lifelong service in its members and enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities. Although the organization is still fulfilling the purpose for which it was intended, The Ability Experience has grown into a nationally recognized nonprofit with numerous programs educating undergraduates, alumni and communities about the abilities of people with disabilities. JP's party helped to raise $1100 for The Ability Experience!
JP Martin made the decision to travel from Los Angeles all the way to Washington D.C. on a bike this summer. If that wasn't amazing enough, he is doing it in support of The Ability Experience, who support folks who can't always make the same journey. Along the way, he will be making "Friendship Visits" where he meets with folks with disabilities, while also donating grants to those organizations from the money raised along with this teammates. Of course, we had to get involved in this sort of thing! This party was full of finger foods, plenty of wine, music by Adam Townsend and a celebrity guest appearance by JP's dog Ari (adorbs)!
